INTERVIEW: Fansets Collectables

Last week, Trek Radio’s Risa and Mighty Mundane sat down with John Garrison of Fansets to talk Collector’s Pins.
Fansets, quickly becoming known for their solid metallic pins, launched at STLV50 this year with a Star Trek line and since expanded to include DC Comics, Harry Potter, and coming soon Firefly.
Their unique art style sets gives their character & vehicle/starship pins a beautiful cartoon quality reminiscent of the iconic art styles of Filmation and Hannah-Barbara. The Trek Pins so far include the Captains, other popular characters, and assorted Starships, magnetic versions may also be coming soon.

Fansets also has augmented reality technology they are launching that allows them to see a virtual display triggered by their pins on mobile devices that launches a short presentation visible in real space from the screen of the phone or tablet.
