Trek Radio at Egyptian Theater, Hollywood for Trek Screenings!

Thomas Wolfe once said, “You can’t go back home to your family, back home to your childhood … back home to a young man’s dreams of glory and of fame …”

For many this is truth, a stark comment on life and its inevitable surge forward into what some might say is that undiscovered country. Some might say this… but not all. Indeed, some might say that our past is worth preserving; that we need not only embrace what has come before, but boldly bring it to the forefront for new generations to enjoy. That someone is American Cinematheque, an organization dedicated to bringing movies back to the big screen as they were meant to be seen!

Trek Radio is proud to be covering American Cinematheque’s Star Trek Film Series this weekend. Please join us live at the historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood for 35mm screenings of the Motion Picture, The Wrath of Khan, and the Search For Spock; plus The Voyage Home, The Final Frontier and The Undiscovered Country in 70mm.

If that’s not cool enough, following each movie will be a discussion with various Star Trek heavy-hitters including George Takei Friday night, Walter Koenig Saturday night, and Nicholas Meyer on Sunday! We’ve set loose Trek Radio’s very own intrepid duo of BillyD and eBridget (Amok Time) to get the inside scoop on this wonderful event as well as up close and personal interviews with those in attendance.

Of course, no star-studded event would be complete without the one and only Risa (Terra Nova). That’s right, Risa is going Hollywood and nothing will ever be the same again.

So come on out this weekend, see some great Trek on the big screen as it was intended. Bring your family, your children, and your neighbor – anyone who might not have had the chance to see these science fiction masterpieces live, loud, and large!
