Star Trek Discovery reveals First Look Trailer and Talking Trek

At the CBS Upfront presentation at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Sonequa Martin-Green, star of Star Trek Discovery, revealed a new trailer along with several details regarding the production.

The new series has had its episode order increased to 15 episodes from the original 13. CBS is also launching a post show called Talking Trek.

Talking Trek will discuss developments on Discovery and likely Star Trek as a whole. There is no word yet as to who is hosting the post show or whether the first Talking Trek will accompany the premier of Discovery that will air on the free CBS Network.

Subsequent episodes of Star Trek: Discovery are confirmed to remain exclusive to CBS All Access in the United States. Discovery is slated to be available worldwide via Netflix and in Canada via Crave TV’s Space channel.

The trailer showed off some very juicy glimpses of Discovery, including the crew in new uniforms, shots of the bridge, extravehicular activity (EVA) in a space suit, new Klingons, and dark foreshadowing of the story to come.
