INTERVIEW: New STAR TREK™ Bluetooth Combadge and Speakers by Fametek
As fans celebrated the 50th anniversary of Star Trek on September 8, pop culture electronics company Fametek announced new collectibles that make use of Bluetooth technology to make them fully functional in our everyday lives.
On September 9, Trek Radio was joined by Jeremy Larsson, Director of Fametek, for the first interview about the new Star Trek TNG Bluetooth Communicator Badge and the Star Trek Bluetooth Figure Speakers. While these collectibles look great they also provide useful functionality. A faithful reproduction of the signature prop from the TV show, the TNG Bluetooth Communicator connects to any smartphone to act as a modern day incarnation of the iconic communicator badges used by the Enterprise-D crew in the 24th century. In the classic forms of Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, the Star Trek Bluetooth Figure Speakers connect to any smartphone to act as high quality speakers for listening to music. These functional collectibles will be a prized addition to any fan’s collection and make great gifts.
