SLSFC5 Celebrity Interviews!

The week of June 27th, 2012 kicks off the fifth Second Life Science Fiction Convention (SLSFC5). As with the previous conventions, this is an official Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society (ACS). All proceeds from donations and ticket sales go to the American Cancer Society chapter. The ACS chapter in Second Life has raised more than a million dollars since it was established in 2005.

This year’s celebrity guests include Richard Hatch (BSG), Jonathan Frakes (TNG), Garrett Wang (VOY), and Star Trek royalty Rod Roddenberry! If you’d like to ask any of the celebrities a question, you can do so by emailing questions@trekradio.net or join the IRC chatroom to ask your question in person. Attending the convention is free, as is getting a Second Life account and logging in. Individual events may have an additional fee and the schedule of events may change at a moment’s notice. We hope to see you there!

This convention is sponsored by The Federation (IFT), Trek Radio, StarFleet Temporal Documentation Enforcement and Correction, United Federation Starfleet, Beach Bunns, Doctor Who Exposition, Hands of Omega, House Tardis Creative Systems, Gianfar Peaks, Babylon 5 Station IV RP, Orion Civilians, Little Mos Eisley, UFPGC, Firefly Companion’s Guild, Star Trek: Intrepid, New Eden RP, Who Island Timeline Systems, Gridtalkie, Myrmidon Order, Pandora HomeTree, Vortech, Dark Eden, Vulcan Council & Lavish Living.
