Trek Radio at STLV 2015

Trek Radio will return to Creation Entertainment‘s Offical Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas this August at the Rio All-Suite Hotel.

Making the trek this year are Risa and Deyvid along with Mighty Mundane who will be attending for his first time. The Trek Radio team will provide on-site coverage with audio and video interviews, on-air road reports, live Tweets and Facebook posts, and of course tons of photos from the convention floor and activities in and around the hotel.

In addition to the on-stage panels featuring over 100 celebrity guests, fans in attendance this year will be able to step onto the bridge of the original USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (no bloody A, B, C, D, E, or F) and sit in the captain’s chair for a rare low-cost photo opportunity. Returning this year will be the special backdrops and set pieces — such as the TOS transporter, Guardian of Forever, screen-used prop displays, along with new additions — where attending fans can take photos for free. Quark’s Bar will be back as well and will be expanded bigger and better.

To kick off our coverage of the largest Star Trek convention in the world, Risa and Deyvid will Trek into the Valley of Fire with Geek Nation Tours and Trekland’s “Dr. Trek” Larry Nemecek. This special one-day adventure will explore Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park which was the filming location for Viridian III where captains Kirk and Picard worked together to defeat Dr. Soran in Star Trek Generations.

The convention runs from August 6 to 9, and tickets are still available. We encourage every Trek fan able to attend, come join the largest Trekkie family reunion at Creation’s Star Trek Las Vegas convention, and book the Valley of Fire tour with Geek Nation Tours.
