Gandalf marries Picard

Recently Sir Ian McKellen appeared on the UK television program “The Jonathan Ross Show” where he announced he will officiate the upcoming wedding of his good friend Sir Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell.

Though many may initially remember Sir Patrick’s and Sir Ian’s collaboration in the film “X-Men” (2000), Stewart and McKellen first worked together in the 1977 production of Tom Stoppard’s “Every Good Boy Deserves Favour.” Patrick Stewart, 72, met jazz singer and songwriter Sunny Ozell, 35, during the 2008 performance of “Macbeth” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Mr. Stewart and Ms. Ozell have shared a home in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. This will be the third marriage for Patrick Stewart and the first for Nevada-born Sunny Ozell.

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will appear on the big screen together again in July 2014 reprising their roles as Professor X and Magneto in the forthcoming film “X-Men: Days of Future Past”. This fall they will co-star on stage in Broadway revivals of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” and Harold Pinter’s “No Man’s Land”.

Visit Sunny Ozell’s official website for more information about her, including a brief biography, photos, performance videos, upcoming shows dates, and social media links.

Trek Radio would like to congratulate Sir Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell on their upcoming nuptials. We wish them the best of luck and lots of joy. May they both Live Long and Prosper together.
