The MUSIC of STAR TREK VANGUARD

Trek Radio is proud to present a special edition of the Captain’s Table featuring critically-acclaimed science fiction author and screenwriter David Mack and the Music of Star Trek Vanguard.

Recently David Mack had a vision to create a podcast highlighting the music which inspired him while he wrote several books in the Star Trek: Vanguard series. Timewarp and Nydra teamed up with David Mack to bring his vision for this special musical presentation to life on the Captain’s Table and Trek Radio.

The following three-hour broadcast, aired on April 23rd, 2012, provides the listener with a unique opportunity to peer inside the mind of the writer and embark on a musical journey of discovery as David Mack discusses how each song shaped the development of the story and characters in his Star Trek: Vanguard novels.

Trek Radio, Timewarp & Nydra would like to thank David Mack for joining us on the Captain’s Table and sharing insights into his creative process.

This is a wonderful theme for a radio show. In it’s way, it’s better than a basic interview with a novel’s author. I’m so glad this came together for David Mack and Trekradio. I’m lucky enough to have read most of the Vanguard series. Have the author’s personal soundtrack gives my experience some serious ooomph for already powerful storytelling. The narration is spectacular!
