Server Upgrade (Update 2)

(Updated January 16, 2013)

With the New Year comes growth, and on January 12 Trek Radio will be upgrading to our new dedicated server. As we switch from the current server to the new server, some of our systems will be affected temporarily.

During this transition period, the website will remain unaffected and the recommended method of listening to the audio stream will be via the music player embedded on the website. The chat room on the website will also remain unaffected.

The links for accessing the audio stream in external players and the TeamSpeak server will be redirected to the new server’s IP address. This redirection process may take up to 24 hours to propagate through the networks, making those links inaccessible. Once the transition has been initiated, both the audio stream and TeamSpeak will need to be accessed using the respective surayamedia.com links until the server transition is complete.

UPDATE:

Our transfer to the new dedicated server has been completed successfully. We are working to resolve any minor residual issues with the website. Our audio stream and TeamSpeak are back online and operating within established parameters.

The recommended method for listening to the audio stream continues to be the music player embedded on the website. The image links for external players are once again clickable links which will allow listeners to access the audio stream in their favorite audio programs.

To join the conversation on the Trek Radio TeamSpeak, listeners can use the surayamedia.com or teamspeak.trekradio.net server addresses.
